Here is a quick and easy recipe for BBQ ribs and pulled pork sandwiches:

Ingredients for BBQ Ribs:

  1. 2 racks of baby back ribs
  2. 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  3. 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  4. 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  5. Salt and pepper, to taste


Instructions for BBQ Ribs:

  • Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  • Season the ribs with smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper on both sides.
  • Wrap the ribs in aluminum foil, making sure they are sealed tightly.
  • Place the ribs on a baking sheet and bake for 2-2.5 hours, until the meat is tender and almost falling off the bone.
  • Remove the foil and brush the ribs with BBQ sauce.
  • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  • Place the ribs on the grill and cook for 5-10 minutes, until they are slightly charred and the sauce is caramelized.
  • Cut the ribs into individual servings and serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side.

Instructions for Pulled Pork Sandwiches:

  • Season the pork shoulder with garlic powder, brown sugar, salt, and pepper on all sides.
  • In a slow cooker, mix together the BBQ sauce and apple cider vinegar.
  • Add the pork shoulder to the slow cooker and coat it with the BBQ sauce mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the meat is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
  • Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.
  • Add some of the cooking liquid to the shredded pork to moisten it.
  • Toast the buns and place a generous amount of pulled pork on each bun.
  • Serve with additional BBQ sauce on the side, if desired.
